County Before Country, Saint Michael the Archangel & Christ Pantocrator
Good afternoon art lovers,
I am sitting here painting a secret project that I’ll be announcing at the end of this month. I safely returned from my travels to Batavia, Ohio one week ago as a guest speaker at Pastor Michael Fosters East River Church’s conference County Before Country. Speakers like Doug Wilson, Aaron Renn, John Moody and Brian Suave unapologetically shared the stage with me, it was an honor.
The spirit of atheism has tripled down in materialism where human beings worship sexual market value as the ultimate source of pride, even over the wisdom of father time. The secular world is mentally ill leading generations of men purposeless and feminized - it makes me sick.
County Before Country is a rare conference in this toxically anti-masculine and pro-fragility climate - a special shout out to Michael Foster and the God fearing men and women in Ohio. You guys are awesome and I feel blessed upon my return to the DMV, and a little sad seeing how unconsciously defensive people are in contrast.
Now while were on the subject, I want to share my most recent commission sale of Saint Michael the Archangel heroically slaying the archetypal dragon - it is different from my usual style in many regards and I am incredibly proud of how it turned out. Proceeds of this art work were actually used to purchase my fathers 67th birthday present, a new Mercedes-Benz that was just delivered as you read this. While I’ve needed a new car for quite some time now, its such an honorable high to give back to your parents and it brings me great joy. It looks like I’ll have to hold onto my old bucket for a little bit longer!
While I am on the subject, incase you missed it, I encourage you to read my previous article titled: “Christianity needs to get their balls back.” The same energy I wrote from was used to produce this gloriously manly portrait of Christ Pantocrator - returning to the earth with blood and fire.
This painting was surreal to produce, and many serendipitous instances occurred that I feel compelled to share but will reserve these conversations for the select few who will be attending my studio get together this coming Thursday evening.
Stay true my friends,
Arthur Kwon Lee
